Developing an access scheme for the South West REZ

EnergyCo together with the Office of Energy and Climate Change are now in the early stages of developing a proposal for an Access Scheme for the South West Renewable Energy Zone (REZ), including the eastern portion of Project EnergyConnect. During this phase we will be engaging closely with key industry and other stakeholders.

Industry consultation will start in early 2023 with the South West REZ Developer Reference Group. This is a key consultative and information sharing forum for proponents and investors in existing projects in the South West of NSW.

An Expression of Interest for the reference group was open between 14 December 2022 and 16 January 2023.
