Community and Employment Benefit Program online briefing

EnergyCo is developing a Community and Employment Benefit Program (the Program) to deliver tangible benefits to regional communities hosting new energy infrastructure.

An online briefing was held on Monday 5 February 2024 for community members and stakeholders who wanted to learn more about the Program in the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone.

The briefing covered:

• Consultation undertaken by EnergyCo to date
• Community benefit priorities we have heard so far
• How we are gathering further community feedback
• How you can share your views about the types of benefits you would like to see delivered in your community
• A Q&A session.
