Annual Community Attitude Survey open for Central‑West Orana REZ Transmission Project

Central West Orana REZ Project updates Central West Orana region

EnergyCo has launched the 2026 Annual Community Attitude Survey as part of ongoing monitoring under the Social Impact Management (SIM) Plan for the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Transmission Project.

We have engaged WSP, an independent consultant, to deliver the survey.

The survey is open until 24 May 2026.

Take the survey

The Annual Community Attitude Survey gives people who live and work in the region the opportunity to share their experiences of the transmission project during construction, including how social impacts are being managed and whether there are any new or emerging issues to consider.

Taking part is voluntary, and responses are confidential.  Any identifying details are removed, and results are shared only in summary form.

Community feedback plays an important role in helping EnergyCo understand what is working well and where improvements may be needed as construction continues.

The easiest way to take part is online to take the survey.

During the survey period, an independent research provider may also reach out to some community members by phone

The survey results will be published on the SIM Plan monitoring dashboard as part of EnergyCo’s Quarter 4 (June–April) SIM Plan monitoring. View the SIM Plan monitoring dashboard.
